This Space for Rent

So what does it mean to rent out space in your head.....really? Does it mean letting just anyone take up residence? Do they get to rearrange the living room, pull up the daisies or kick the dog?

I suppose it all depends on how you interpret "as a man thinketh..............."...or..."as a person thinketh" (for the pc police ;-).

As I see it, thinking on one thing or another doesn't necessarily mean you take something to heart, believe it, or make it a part of your world. After it enters your head space, or boards your bus, or whatever you want to call it, a thought can be ushered anywhere you direct. You can certainly invite Mr. or Ms. Thought to sit awhile, stay a spell, and then after they have stayed their welcome, politely usher him or her to the door.

Or you can invite the thought to hang around for a bit longer...........or mayhaps a lot longer!

Just don't let that thought wander around willy nilly...........or...heaven forbid.......mix it up with other thoughts...until you are absolutely sure that all thoughts will play nicely together, that they won't run with scissors, and can find a coherent sentence without the aid of two hands and flashlight ;-)

That said...........consider this blog my attempt to introduce you to my boarders..........as I rent my head space......and I share with you what goes on as we visit.
